Obituary of Betty Caruso

Betty Ann Caruso passed away April 7, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born April 8, 1932 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Nicholas and Margaret (Burkhart) Fabozzi. Betty worked for Scofield Residence where she was the assistant activities director. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, was an avid gardener and crafter making several floral arrangements and selling them at the Lockport Apothecary to raise money for the American Cancer Society, and was an active member of All Saints Parish where she taught Vacation Bible School in the summer months. Betty was predeceased by her husband John T. Caruso, who was an Aerospace Engineer for MOOG Inc. where he holds several patents; he passed away January 24, 1992.
Betty is survived by her children John T. (Mary) Caruso, III of Rocky River, OH, Dr. Thomas N. (MaryAnn) Caruso of New Hartford, NY, Tracy M. (Gary) Caruso-Kaczmarek, Beth A. (William) Grant both of Lockport, and Jill M. (Thomas) Caruso-Laski of Clarence; grandmother of John, Amy, Joseph Caruso, Christine, Thomas, Carrie Caruso, Dr. Jonathan Caruso, Matthew Kaczmarek, William and Paige Grant, Alexander and Brady Laski; sister of Nicholas (Jeanne) Fabozzi of East Amherst and Judy A. (Frank) Ralabate of Williamsville; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Entombment will be in Elmlawn Mausoleum. Memorials to All Saints Parish would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.

Entombment will be in Elmlawn Mausoleum.
