William Clifford passed away April 8, 2012 in Niagara Hospice House. Born August 14, 1936 in Buffalo he was the son of Irvine and Margaret (Howie) Clifford. William was a sixth grade teacher for 38 years at the West Seneca Central School District retiring in 1997. He enjoyed reading, golfing, woodworking and spending time with his family. William is survived by his wife Jean (Turner) Clifford of Lockport; father of David (Monica) Clifford of Lockport, Christopher (Terri) Clifford of Jacksonville, FL, and Andrew Clifford of East Aurora; grandfather of Elizabeth, Brittany, and Alexandera; brother of the late Irvine Clifford, Janet Bingerman, and Margaret Cohen; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM. Donations to the Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 11 AM.
