Margery Pitzer Maser passed away October 7, 2009. Born February 26, 1928 in Port Vue, PA she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorthy (James) Pitzer. Margery graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1949 with a degree in Nursing. She worked for the West Seneca Developmental Center of which Margery was the Supervisory Nurse. She was a member of the Gideon's International and was a Heritage Center volunteer. Margery enjoyed reading and organ and piano music.
Margery is survived by her husband of 59 years Frank A. Maser of Lockport; mother of four sons David E. (Marta) Maser of Helena, MT, Allan S. (Michele) Maser of Amherst, John L. Maser of Lockport and Raymond S. (Deborah) Maser of Kenmore; grandmother of Frank D., Gregory E., Matthew A., Kassandra I. and Aaron J. Maser; great grandmother of Tristin F. Maser; sister of Carol (Robert) Wood of McKeesport, PA and Lawrence (Judy) Pitzer of Hendersonville, NC; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday at 3 PM in the Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Road, Lockport.
