Doris Wellington Obituary

Doris E. Wellington passed away March 30, 2012. Doris was born March 14, 1924 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Florence (Graesser) Weber. Doris was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Alter Guild, one of the original members of the Mother's Club, Red Cross volunteer, member Lockport Senior Citizen's where she enjoyed doing crafts. Doris also enjoyed her flower gardens and was a member of the Garden Club.


Doris was the wife of the late Warren F. Wellington whom passed away November 26, 2006; mother of Ann Wellington, James (Sally) Wellington and Carol Rey all of Lockport and Barbara (Thomas) Ballard of Kerhonkson, NY; grandmother of James T. (Amy) Wellington, Christopher (Michelle) Ballard, Heather Rey, Tanya (Jeffrey) Morris and Sarah (Tyler) Sweeting; great grandmother of Owen, Emma and Alexis Morris, Emily and Cecelia Ballard. Doris was also the sister of the late Robert Weber and Ruth Wiseman and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call Tuesday morning from 10 to 12 in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street where funeral services will be held at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials to the Charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the Family.
