Augustine LaRuffa passed away September 29, 2009 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born May 24, 1942 in Buffalo he is the son of Mary (nee Sidonio) LaRuffa and the late Joseph LaRuffa who passed away in 2006. Augustine served in the US Marine Corp and worked as a machinist with Sherwood, Lockport. He enjoyed horse racing and gardening. Besides his mother Augustine is also survived by his wife Diane (nee Berry) LaRuffa of Lockport; father of Kyle (Sue Reese) LaRuffa and Jennifer (John) Keister; grandfather of Ryan, Kaitlyn LaRuffa and Jacqueline, Carissa and Isabella Keister; brother of Joseph (Mary Jane) LaRuffa; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 3-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10AM. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
