Obituary of Robert DeFilippo

Robert J. DeFilippo passed away suddenly March 11, 2012 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. Born January 21, 1951 in Lockport he was the son of Angelo and Philemona (Andrello) DeFilippo. Robert retired from Sherwood of Harsco in 2005. He was an avid gardener and always loved to joke around with family and friends. Robert was a huge sports fan and loved the NY Yankees and Syracuse Orangeman. Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years Barbara (Bussingham) DeFilippo of Lockport. He is also leaves behind two daughters Alicia (Bryon Brinley) DeFilippo of Lockport and Ashley DeFilippo of Niagara Falls. Robert is also survived by several brother and sisters, Jean (Robert Headly) Stover of Oshawa, Canada, Angelo (Lisa) DeFilippo, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Elena (Perry) Azzinaro of Lockport, Mark (Holly) DeFilippo of Virginia Beach, VA, and Mary Jo (James) Floyd of Lockport. He is the son-in-law of Fred and Lorna Bussingham and brother-in-law of Nancy (Bill) Maines, Susan (Sandy) Pembleton, and Robert (Cindy) Bussingham; also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
