Josephine A. Wakefield passed away February 25, 2012 in Niagara Hospice House. Born June 13, 1928 in London, England she was the daughter of Cecil and Nell (Brennand) Hensby. Josephine worked for Briody Health Care Facility where she was a nurse's aide. She enjoyed going to the casino, gardening and arts and crafts. Josephine is survived by her husband Harry Wakefield; mother of Andrew Wakefield, Linda Brandt both of Lockport, Dennis Wakefield, and Dave (Ann) Wakefield both of England; grandmother of Haylee Wakefield and Martin Patrick; also survived by several brother and sister all of England and several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday at 7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
