Obituary of Rosemary Badger

Rosemary Gaffney Badger passed away January 14, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born January 8, 1917, she is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Sherman) Gaffney. Rosemary is predeceased by her husband Dr George William Badger, DVM, whom passed away January 29, 1996. They were married in Buffalo on September 13, 1941. Rosemary is survived by her children James Paterson (Alison) Badger of South Carolina, Margaret (Raymond) Magno, Lucia Kathryn Badger of Boston, and Kristin Elizabeth (Gerald) Badger-Bach of East Amherst. Grandmother of Victoria Badger Swann, Christine Badger (Mark) Friesz, Jennifer Diane Magno, Elizabeth Magno (Christian) Barnes, Jonathan David Mitten (Timmie), Jedidiah Thomas Mitten (Kristen), and several great grandchildren. Sister of Gertrude Gehlert of Arizona. Family and friends may attend the viewing Monday 4-7 PM at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Church. Memorials to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
