Obituary of John Lovetro

John Anthony Lovetro passed away suddenly January 12, 2012. Born July 19, 1947 in Buffalo, son of Theresa (Incorvaia) Lovetro and the late Anthony Lovetro. He worked for Hooker Chemical for 14 years in the electronics lab, and atVarian Associates for 25 years as an electronics field service engineer, retiring in 2005. John was a member of St. Brendan On The Lake, The Artist Blacksmith's Association of North America and was a merit badge counselor for Boy Scout Troop 8, Cambria. John enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy, with his beloved wife Joyce (Bartosz) Lovetro of 42 years. He was a talented oil painter, blacksmith, musician, and had a passion for fine wine.
Along with his wife, John is survived by his three sons: John Lovetro, Jr., James (Karen) Lovetro, and Jeffrey (Kimberly) Lovetro; granddaughter Olivia Lovetro; brother of Dave (Laura) Lovetro; uncle of Kathryn Lovetro; son-in-law of Mildred Bartosz; brother-in-law of Joan (Tom) Rumph and Daniel Bartosz.
Family and friends may attend the viewing Sunday 2-6 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10 AM at St. Brendan On The Lake, Ewings Rd., Newfane.
