Obituary of James Laster

James L. "Rico" Laster passed away September 23, 2009. He was born November 13, 1946 in Butler Springs, AL and is the son of Eliza M. Laster and the late Rev. Robert Laster, Sr. James served in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970 and worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years where he was a foreman upon retirement. James was predeceased by his wife Linda L. (McClain) Laster in 2006. He was a member of the Mount Erie Baptist Church, Niagara Falls, the VFW Post 1 of Niagara Falls and the American Legion. Besides his mother James is survived by his son Tequilynn K. Laster of Niagara Falls and one granddaughter; brother of Rev. Robert Laster Jr. of Niagara Falls, Ronald W. Laster of Atlanta, GA, Deborah (Robert) Laster-Wood of Lithonia, GA and Nicole Yvette Laster; also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday evening 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport and Monday 10-11 AM in the Mount Erie Baptist Church, 1152 Fairfield Avenue, Niagara Falls where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 AM.
