Ralph A. Bishop passed away in Niagara Hospice House December 10, 2011. Born May 26, 1930, he was the son of Ralph S. and Doris Randall Bishop. Ralph was a 1948 graduate of Lockport High School and entered the U.S. Army in 1951 and served 2 years during the Korean Conflict being discharged in March of 1953. Upon returning from service he resumed his position at Harrison Radiator, Div. of G.M. where he was a machine repairman until his retirement in 1985 after 37 years.
Ralph was married to the late Jeanie P. Eakins, she passed away April 21,1998; he is survived by his children Mathew R. (Barbara) Bishop of Syracuse, NY, Nora A. (Howard) Bruning of Lockport and Thomas R. (Mary) Bishop of Hilton, NY and the late Beverly Eakins. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Denyel (Tim) Koury, Thomas Beiter, Matthew, Caileigh, Holly and Emily Bishop; he was the brother of Mary Anna Bishop of Lockport and John "Jack" (Marilyn) Bishop of Cincinnati, OH and also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 o'clock in St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 o'clock in St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.
