Obituary of Edward Patterson

Edward A. Patterson passed away November 19, 2011 in the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab and Health Care Center. Born April 8,1927 in Newfane, the son of Elmer and Rose Reagen Patterson.
Edward was a veteran of the Navy, and returning went to Harrison Radiator Div. of G.M. where he worked in production for 39 years retiring in 1988. He was a member of the American Legion B. Leo Dolan Post 410, V.F.W. Post 2535, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 825, Elks Lodge #41, Optimist Club, served on the Executive Board of the Lockport Midget Baseball League and in his spare time enjoyed bowling. Edward was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Langdon) Patterson in 1995.
Edward is survived by his four sons; Bruce (Vicky) of Dededo, Guam, Paul of Wrights Corners, NY Jeffrey (Masumi) of Yokosuka, Japan and Mark of Key West, FL; grandfather of Garry Patterson of Kent, WA and Tiffany Marie Patterson; great grandfather of Noah, Naomi and Nathan Patterson. He is the brother of John Patterson of Chicago, IL, Theresa Hornsby of Louisiana, Blanche Wise of Niagara Falls and the late Ralph, Earl, Marie Patterson, Rosalie Swendson and Anna Mae Patterson; he also is survived by his dear friend and companion Patricia Patterson and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday afternoon from 4 to 8 PM at Prudden & Krandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated FRIDAY, November 25, 2011 at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist, R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
