Christopher D. Rivers passed away November 17, 2011. Born August 30, 1990 in Newfane he is the son of Stacy (John) Christie Higgins and Louis Rivers, Jr. Christopher worked for Johnson Rose, Lockport. He enjoyed weight lifting, music, and plating with the X Box. Besides his parents Christopher is also survived by his sisters Nichole (Ben) Turrell of Middleport, Amanda Higgins of Lockport, and Heather Higgins of Colorado; uncle of Chloe, Audriona, and Madison; fiancé to Ashley D'Amore; grandson of Marion (late Louis) Rivers, Sr. and Richard (late Lois) Christie; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Monday 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
