Obituary of Alice McElheny Lund

Alice L. McElheny Lund passed away November 14, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born May 30, 1927 in Lockport she was the daughter of John J. and Irene (McEachon) Kenney. Alice worked for New York Telephone where she was an operator. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Alice was predeceased by her husbands Francis J. McElheny and Roger Lund. Alice is survived by her children Paulette (Donald "Chip") Case of Lockport and James A. McElheny of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandmother of five and great grandmother of three; sister of the late Thelma McCarthy, Elizabeth Crofts and Geraldine West; also several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass on Tuesday, November 29th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Donations to the Alzeimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville, NY 14221-7380 would be appreciated.
