Obituary of Wendy Gibson

Wendy Gibson passed away November 9, 2011 after a long illness under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born October 7, 1949 in Lockport she is the daughter Howard Roth of Lockport and the late Erna Fae (Joyce) Roth. Wendy worked for Crafts &amp; Creations for 34 years where she was a sales clerk. She was an artist and hat designer and entered crafts shows in the area. Wendy was known as "The Mad Hattress" and she enjoyed gardening and antiquing. Besides her father Wendy is survived by her son Aaron (Michele) Gibson of Burlington, VT; companion Tim Sweet of Lockport; sister of Brian (Ellen) Roth of Barker and Richard Roth of Boston, MA; aunt of James and Sarah Roth; dear friends Lisa Wroblewski and Veve Pietrocarlo. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-6 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 5 Saxton St., Lockport. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
