Obituary of Anthony LaForest

Anthony W. LaForest, formerly of Keck Road Lockport, passed away November 9, 2011 in Niagara Hospice House. Born June 14, 1920 in Parisfield, NY he was the son of Paul and Anna (Morin) LaForest. Anthony worked for 42 years at Harrison Radiator where he was a millwright retiring in 1982. Fall was Anthony's favorite season as meant he was going pheasant hunting with his sons which he especially enjoyed. Anthony also liked to bowl and woodworking. Anthony is survived by his wife Shirley (Greenman) LaForest of Youngstown; father of Paul (Frances) LaForest of Youngstown, Richard (Lana) LaForest and Catherine (George) Tocco both of Lockport; also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his brother John LaForest and sister Rose Anne Wright. There will be no prior visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's Church, 76 Church St., Lockport. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated. <h3>Visitation</h3> There will be no prior visitation. <h3>Services</h3> A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's Church, 76 Church St., Lockport.
