John E. "Jack" Shufelt passed away November 3, 2011. Born August 6, 1930 in Lockport he was the son of Ralph and Grace (Robinson) Shufelt. John served in the US Army from 1949 to 1952 during the Korean War. John was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Anita (Arlington) Shufelt on March 5, 2009. John is survived by his children John (Sandy) Shufelt of Middleport, Gary (Tina) Shufelt of Lancaster, Mark Shufelt and Lynn (David) Doyle both of Lockport; grandfather of six and great grandfather of four; brother of David (Zoe) Shufelt, Grace (late Adam) Rumley and the late Gary Shufelt, Ralph "Buck" Shufelt and Ruth Craft; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 10-12 Noon at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Interment in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
