Margaret Richards passed away October 31, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born November 21, 1948 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Frederick and Mary Frances (Ryan) Koenig. Margaret worked for New Directions Youth & Family Services where she was an administrative assistant. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, working on crossword puzzles and also she was a Civil War enthusiast visiting Gettysburg and other Battlefields.

Margaret is survived by her husband Robert W. Richards of Lockport; mother of Kimberly Ann (Gregory Brown) Richards of Reading, PA and Krista Marie Richards of Lockport; sister of James Koenig of Prattville, AL and Frances Koenig of Lockport.

Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in St. Brendan on the Lake, 3455 Ewings Road, Newfane. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
