Obituary of Whitney Caldwell

Whitney "Junior" Caldwell passed away October 17, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born January 7, 1932 in Medina he was the son of Whitney E. and Augusta M. (Woodrich) Caldwell. Junior was a laborer for 15 years working for Buffalo Pump, in North Tonawanda, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and also the Odd fellows Club.
Junior is survived by his wife, whom he married July 31, 1954, Mary (nee Ryan) Caldwell of Lockport; father of James (Barbara) Caldwell of Lockport, Wayne (Marla) Caldwell of Richfield, VA and Joanne (James) Schultz of Las Vegas, NV; grandfather of Dawn (Michael) Dudkowski, Derek Caldwell and Nathan (Carolyn) Schultz; great grandfather of Charles and Lily Schultz; brother of the late Walter (late Helen) Caldwell and the late Betty (late Frank) Waldron; brother-in-law of Betty (late Gordon) Crane, Dorothy (late Robert) Vigrass, Harold "Pat" (late Shirley) Ryan, Audrey (Wayne) Burgess, Winifred (Fay) Heschke, Charlotte (late Francis "Pat") Patrick, Donald (Judy) Ryan, Anna (Robert) Heschke, Florence (Herb) Kolbe, Dawn (late Raymond) Coyle and the late Geraldine (late Ernest) Winters; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM.
