Obituary of Elsworth Bohnstadt

Elsworth A. Bohnstadt passed away October 9, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born January 2, 1919 in Cambria he was the son of Rudolph and Esther (Voelker) Bohnstadt. Elsworth served in the US Army during WW II he worked as a janitor at Mount View Health Care Facility. He enjoyed being with his family, liked to tease and joke. Despite many illnesses Elsworth always had a smile on his face, though a private man he was a very loving man. He will be missed very much.
Elsworth was predeceased by his wife Adeline (Trombley) Bohnstadt on May 31, 2008. He is survived by his children Judith (James) Hoste of Lockport and Arnold Bohnstadt of Easely, SC; grandfather of Tammy (Gregory) Hoste of Lockport, Michelle (Chad) Norton, Angela Mooreland, Timothy Bohnstadt and Jason (Jodie) Bohnstadt all of South Carolina; step-grandfather of Allen Hoste of Lockport and Cheryl May of Michigan; great grandfather of thirteen and step great grandfather of three; brother-in-law of James Trombley of Lockport and also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM.
