Obituary of Judith Reid

Judith Ann Reid of Lockport, passed away Saturday October 8, 2011. Born July 20, 1947 in Lockport she was the daughter of Mary A. (Peters) Suits and the late John W. Suits. "Judy" was a graduate of Newfane Central High School and S.U.N.Y. Technology at Alfred, NY. She worked 19 years as Assistant Manager for M &amp; T Bank of New York in Lockport, after leaving M &amp; T she was manager of Reids Hots for 15 years. Judy enjoyed golfing and also was a member of the Barge Canal Optimist Club. Judy is the wife of Jack Reid of Lockport, daughter of Mary A. (Peters) Suits; sister of Belinda (James) Goodman of Silver Springs, MD and Carol (the late Gordon) Gottman of Lockport; step-mother of Thomas (Cheryl) Reid, Richard (Sally) Reid, Sandra Jo (Hubert) Whitmore and David (Michelle) Reid all of Lockport. Also she is survived by several step-grandchildren, and great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
