Obituary of Pamela Ryan

Pamela A. Ryan passed away September 29, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born June 17, 1946 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Emil and Donna (Gates) Krentz. Pamela worked for 20 years as the Admission Coordinator for the Exercise Science & Physiology Department at the University of Buffalo retiring on July 28, 2010. She enjoyed decorating, animals, was an avid golfer and gardener.
Pamela is survived by her husband Michael J. Ryan of Williamsville; mother of Jeffrey M. (Andrea) Ryan of Buffalo and Christopher P. Ryan of Tonawanda; sister of Constance Krentz of Lockport; sister-in-law of William (Cindy) Ryan of Wellsville, Joanne (Joseph) Holcomb of Portland, OR and Thomas (Maggie) Lupo of Lockport; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Donations to the Buffalo Zoo, 300 Parkside Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14214 or the Erie County SPCA, 205 Ensminger Rd., Tonawanda, NY 14150 would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
