Obituary of Lawrence Bosseler

Lawrence "Larry" Bosseler passed away September 11, 2011 after a brief illness. Born August 25, 1949 in Lockport he is the son of Margaret (Kalamanka) Bosseler of Lockport and the late John Bosseler. He graduated for Lockport High School in 1967 and went on to get his Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University, graduating in 1971. Larry worked for Life Tech on Grand Island where he was the custodian. He enjoyed music as well as playing the piano and guitar and was an avid fan of the LA Dodgers. Besides his mother Larry is also survived by his wife of 28 years Shirley (Smith) Bosseler of Niagara Falls; step-father of Todd Hurtabise of New Jersey; brother of Mary (Terry) Bream of Lockport and the late Kay Bosseler; uncle of Eric Bream and Greg (Melanie) Bream both of Lockport. Relatives and friends may call Friday 4-8 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday evening at 5 PM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 5 Saxton St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
