Cam, you are such a sweetheart! I will always remember your funny little giggle and all the many kindnesses you always showed to myself, Jonathan and to everyone who ever encountered you. I am so grateful for being able to know and love such a special person. He was truly one of a kind and helped me out so often. I am thankful that I was able to see him last weekend to see him smile one last time. My Dad, Bob Bennett told "Cam Stories" all his life, I am sure they are now together sharing more! God Bless his family.

Cam, my father William F Scott was a close friend and mechanic in his early racing years. I had fond memories of Cam racing at the local dirt tracks. I remember Cam and his brothers running the local Texaco gas station on chestnut ridge road. Cam will surely be missed by family & friends. May God Bless, William Scott,jr

We have so many good memories of Cam. Traveled many miles with him to be part of his local racing great History. You will always be in our thoughts. Thanks for being my friend and mentor growing up. Words are hard to discribe our feelings at time such as this.

To; Paula &Family; We were saddened to hear of Cams passing.We knew he wasn't well &could not attend the reunion at Merrittville this year.We flew the flags at half mast in his honour last evening ,during the races. Cam will always be remembered as one of our original competitors from Lockport,N.Y. to regularly race at Merrittville&his Lazy 8 will always hang on our Wall of Fame. He was inducted in 1998 along with our Family.His story can be found under Merrittville Memories &we will be updating it with photos on Merrittville Speedway's "Back in the Day" 60th season. On behalf of the Merrittville Speedway Reunion Committee,myself,Erica Bicknell,Ted Renshaw,Jim Irvine,Jeno Begolo,Mark Swartz&Terry Huffman.,Our Sincere Condolences to all the family.
