Kathleen A. Starkweather passed away January 16, 2025. Born March 9, 1947 in Lockport she was the daughter of Robert J. and Frances I. (D’Angelo) Gibson, Sr. Kathleen worked for Orleans Niagara BOCES in Medina where she was a teacher aide. She had a deep love for animals and devoted herself to feeding and rescuing stray cats. Kathleen was passionate about history and loved expanding her knowledge. She cherished playing cards, visiting the casino with her family, and fishing with her siblings. One of her greatest joys was dancing with her grandchildren (happy feet), creating memories filled with love and laughter.
Kathleen is survived by her children Kimberly (Gerald) Truscio Berner, Anthony (Andrea) Truscio, and Kristin Truscio Ervolina; siblings Lorrie Gibson Rosenberg and Robert Gibson, Jr.; grandchildren Terra (Bailey) Bannan, Tyler (Maggie) Truscio, Justin McDonald, Jonathan (Dainna) Truscio, and Elizabeth Truscio; four great grandchildren; niece Lindsey Rosenberg.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
