Q: What was Richard really good at?
A: Rick always had an infectious smile, He was just two days younger than I am. We attended the same school. Hung around afternoon hours. Be it a mini bike or go cart. Even his dream car. That he saved for with his paper route money. Few things brought a smile to Rick
faster than calling his friend's...a Turkey squeezer. Even a Mopar guy. Like myself.
Rick your 69 is fine as wine. May your carburetor's progressive linkage be adjuster butter smooth. With a perfect 14.7 % air fuel ratio. A tight clutch, pressure plate. Twelve ponds of rear tire air pressure. Perfect wear pattern 4.10 posi rear differential. Just enough high test to smell from the exhaust. Well after the car is gone. Rest in peace my bow tie friend.
When we meet again, Smile for a fellow Turkey squeezer.

I knew Rick a little bit through the years due to our shared love of cars. But got to know him much better when he went to Moog. 4-5 times a year, i serviced a machine right at the end of his workbench, and always looked forward to catching up with him about what had transpired since last visit. I know he was really proud of his Camaro, and had a list projects for it planned in retirement. He was also happy about the prospects of spending more time with the family.
RIP Rick

Q: What 3 words best describe Richard and why?
A: Rick was my cousin, and I have lots of memories from when we were young and hanging out at the Dye family reunion. Rick was a friendly, fun loving, and good guy. I know you’ll be missed by all who knew you, especially your wife, daughters, sisters and brother.
R.I.P. Rick

I haven’t seen Richard (Ricky) since I was seventeen years old. But what I remember was a really fun and cool guy. He showed me tricks that would make my Chevy Impala go a lot faster. I’m not sure if that was a good thing but I will always cherish this memory of Richard. Uncle Woody’s son John
