Obituary of Leo L. Langdon

Leo L. “Butch” Langdon passed away January 5, 2025 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born August 16, 1930 in Lockport he was the son of Arthur and Elizabeth (Morris) Langdon.  Leo worked for NYSEG in Lockport where he was a lineman.  He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Hartland Gun Club and served as a Boy Scout Troop Leader of Pack 50.  Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid golfer.  Leo was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Joan (Drier) Langdon on March 21, 2010.

Leo is survived by his children Douglas (Jacki Welch) Langdon, Linda (Fred) Manzer, and Paula (late Richard) Neumann; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; also companion Linda Congelli; He was also predeceased by his siblings Raymond Langdon and Marie Steiner.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 10th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 11th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to www.unbound.org or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or www.niagarahospice.org would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
