The shenanigans began in 1957 at DeSales High School and has continued for the past 65 years.
So many memories, the-mail room at Harrison's, the hospital in Ransomville, the card games in Gasport, in Ellicottville, and at the Military Museum , The Pedi-8, snowmobiling in Quebec, target shooting, winning all the baskets at the DeSales reunions, dinners celebrating our joy's and sharing our sorrow's.
Joe's passing leaves a hole in this world. His strong faith, his integrity, his kindness, his wisdom, his loyalty, his love of family, his generosity, and his laughter will be greatly missed.
He will remain in our hearts as he was in our lives, a best friend and a brother.
Our deepest sympathy to Joey and to the rest of his family.
Bill and April Harrington

I send my deepest condolences to Joe's family. Joey and I went to St. Patrick's and DeSales together and we shared the job in high school of unlocking and locking the church every day and replacing the burned out votive lights!
We were paid $6.00 a week for 7 days work. Believe it or not 60 years ago that was a lot of money!
Sad as it is for those who remain, I am glad that Joe did not have to remain long after Anita's death and so happy that they are now back in each other's arms.
Again my deepest condolences,
Fr. Dave Whalen OSFS
