Harry L. Heaton Obituary

“Butch” Harry L. Heaton passed away January 1, 2025 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born January 23, 1959 in Lockport he was the son of John L. and Virginia A. (Haines) Heaton.  Butch worked for 21 years with Lockport City School District where he was a custodian.  He was a member of the Navy Marine Club and the American Legion.  Butch enjoyed Indian artifacts, loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and with his friends. Butch was a kind soul who had trouble finding fault in anyone.


Butch is survived by his sisters Sylvia (Roger) Boire, Becky (Larry) Smith, Tracy (late John) Brewer, and Betty Drisdom; also several nieces, nephews, and a wealth of friends.  Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his sister Kathy Jo Wittcop.


Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 6th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7th at 10 AM.
