Obituary of Mildred DelMonte

Mildred C. DelMonte passed away August 10, 2011 in Niagara Hospice House. Born May 23, 1930 in Lockport she was the daughter of Anthony and Maria Spema Ciarfella. Mildred worked as a self employed hairdresser for several years. She enjoyed playing cards, so much so, she and her sister in law started the Lockport Bid Pitch League, she also loved reading, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mildred was predeceased by her husband Albert DelMonte; mother of Marisa (Jack) McKissock and Gina DelMonte both of Lockport; grandmother of Benjamin and Grace Ann Mc Kissock. She was the sister of Norma (Leon) Harling of Oneita, GA., Henry (Nancy) Ciarfella of Lockport, Anthony (Joy) Ciarfella Jr. of Lockport and the late Elsa (Donald) Fink and Antoinette Payne. Mildred is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where prayers will be offered Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM at All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's RC Church, 76 Church Street. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice or to DeSales Catholic School would be appreciated by the family.

Prayers will be offered Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM at All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's RC Church, 76 Church Street.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
