Obituary of Donald Kinsley

Donald F. Kinsley of Lockport, NY passed away August 10th, 2011. Born March 5, 1939 in Lockport he was the son of Harold and Irene Roman Kinsley. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1956 to 1960. Upon returning from service he went to work at Harrison Radiator where he retired in 1996 as Plant Operator of the Waste Water Center after which he drove school bus for 8 years. A lover of animals Don was predeceased by his dear cat "Barney"; he was an avid reader of the Civil War and W.W. II novels and biographies. Don loved traveling in his motor home and visiting at family gatherings.
Don is survived by his wife Gloria L. (Stuart) Kinsley; father of Frank (Natalie) Kinsley of California; step-father of James Rossow, Jr., Jamie Rossow, Johnna (Dale) Stabler all of Lockport, Jodie Rocco of Pendleton. He also was grandfather to Danielle and Chelby Kinsley, James III and Deanna Rossow, Anthony and Joseph Rocco, Killian Evans and Sabrina and Melanie Stabler. He was the brother in-law of John (Susan) Stuart of Grosse Pointe Shores, MI. Don was predeceased by his sister Barbara Olson.
Relative and friends may call Sunday 3 to 7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday morning, August 15th, 2011 at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice or Save-a-Pet would be appreciated by the family.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning, August 15th, 2011 at 10 o'clock.
