Obituary of Mike Zagmester

Mike Zagmester, 95, of Lockport, entered into rest August 10, 2011, after a short illness. Mike was born January 29, 1916 in, son of the late Frank and Louise Herl Zagmester, in Niagara Falls, NY. He graduated from Barker High School in 1934. Mike retired from Carborundum Company and had served as a medical technician in the US Army in Hawaii and Saipan during World War II. Mike was a aviation enthusiast having been a private pilot before and after the war.
Beside his parents Mike is predeceased by his sisters Mary and Louise Zagmester and is survived by one sister, Emily Galambos. He was the uncle of Susan Hart, Dr. Nancy Galambos, Barton Galambos and the late Sherrie Galambos. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
