Robert W. Smith passed away August 9, 2011. Born November 27,1939 in Lockport, he was the son of William J. and Florence (Buri) Smith. Robert worked for the New York State Department of Transportation in construction. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hunting.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Suzanne Stemper Smith who passed away May 5,2011 and he is survived by his son William R. (Bobbie Lynn) Smith and daughter Debra (Anthony Ilardo) Smith both of Lockport. He is also survived by his brother Charles Smith and sister Cheryl (Fred) Kolos both of Lockport and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday 10 AM to 12 Noon in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. where funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
