Q: How did you meet Cecelia?
A: Mrs. Matyjas was my geometry teacher my sophomore year in 1965. Math was not my strong point, but she had a class that met every day after school for math help. I attended every day and as a result did very well in the class and on the regent's exam at the end of the school year. She was a wonderful teacher and very kind. Because of her and a few other great teachers at Starpoint I became a teacher and taught for over 30 years. She stands out as being one of the people who I will always remember with great fondness and appreciation.
