Betty was a dear friend and cooking mentor! She gave me cooking lessons…pizzelles, sauce, meatballs. When Marnie , my daughter was being bullied by an older girl …I hid in Betty’s garage and ran out to confront the bully. She was a sweet person. I did get to see her when we visited our daughter. Great memories! God bless Betty.

Deepest condolences on the passing of Betty. She was an amazing woman, and for me, neighbor. Where would I be now if not for Betty watching out for me as I walked home from Kindergarten at Roy B Kelly? Betty taught my mom how to make sauce and the best ever meatballs. So many good memories come to mind when I think of growing up in the neighborhood with the Junke's. Sending the family much love!

I met Betty at a local physician’s office where I worked. I don’t really remember if we had friends in common, or why we became close, but she became a dear friend. We hugged hello and goodbye, and it was always a joy to see her come in the door. RIP dear Betty.
