Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Tammy?
A: Tammy was our next-door neighbor growing up! We were close to her family- Tesse and Roger- Cindy and Tammy. Tammy was so petite, had a wonderful smile and positive, bouncy personality! Always happy- a sweetheart. She will be missed by her family and friends. Beautiful person inside and out.

What a wonderful childhood we all had on “our block”! Tammy & sister Cindy were such great role models for all the girls in our neighborhood! I wonder if they even knew how much the” Cassell Sisters” motivated the younger girls to be strong, happy & athletic! I will always remember the kindness & genuine love we felt & honestly, these simple but impactful gestures taught the rest of the girls to do the same for those even younger than us! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen Tammy without wearing her famous smile! How contagious her happiness was! How appropriate for Mike to choose her to spend his life with! I know without a doubt that everyone who knows Tammy has a smile on their face today knowing she is organizing games & activities already for us to join once we arrive in God’s Kingdom. What an honor to know Tammy & have memories like Fugitive in the neighborhood 55 years ago!!

I met Tammy a few years ago through her friend Denise. She loved big and was so proud to share stories of her family. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Praying for her family and friends during this difficult time.
