Obituary of Ronald James Wick
Ronald J. Wick passed away September 14, 2024 in United Memorial Medical Center. Born December 22, 1946 in Lockport he was the son of Cyril and Mary (Eichinger) Wick. Ronald served in the US Air Force from 1965-1969 and worked in security at Harrison Radiator Division of GM. He was active in the Rapids Fire Company for 54 years serving as past fire chief and was an EMT for 26 years. Ronald was also an avid hunter.
Ronald is survived by his children Adam (Cassandra) Wick, Philip Wick, and Shannon (Gerald) Carreon; grandchildren Alyssa, Tyler, David, Nathan, Philip, Zachary, Elias, Mateo and Veronica; great grandchild Avery; siblings Paul (Kathleen) Wick, Phyllis (Boyd) Clausen, Catherine (John) Donovan, Judith (Joseph) Carr, Elizabeth (Daniel) Beiter, Jennifer (Robert) Lynch; also sister-in-law Madeleine Wick and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gerard Wick.
