Obituary of David L Huber

David L. Huber passed away September 11, 2024 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born April 28, 1951 in Buffalo he was the son of Daniel and Ruth (Leising) Huber.  David served in the US Army from 1971 to 1972 being awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.  He worked for Fisher-Price in Medina, and later moved on to the Harrison Radiator Division of GM in Lockport, and UAW Local 686 for 26 years, retiring in 2010.  He was a member of the Corvettes of Buffalo Car Club, and enjoyed collecting Baseball cards, Hunting, Fishing especially in Canada, and going to his cabin in the Southern Tier.

David is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen (Dreher) Huber; children Jeramy (Tina Krueger) Huber and Danielle (Matthew) Brennan; granddaughter Gabrielle; siblings Tom Huber, Daniel (Mary) Huber, Patricia (late Mike) Higgins, and Linda (late Arthur) Zelasko; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, September 17th from 3-7 PM in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 18th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  The family is asking that in lieu of any flowers, donations be made to the Niagara Hospice House.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
