Obituary of Tammy Weir
Tammy Weir passed away unexpectedly at home on August 31, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1963 in Lockport, New York a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Wolters) Bootes, Sr. She worked at Sherwood Selpac as a Material Handler. Tammy was a member of the Eagles and Elks. She enjoyed bowling.
Tammy is survived by her sisters Deborah Bootes, Kathleen (Charles) Gabrielli, Jacqueline (Malcolm) Robertson; sister-in-law Lorrey Bootes; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Weir and boyfriend of 16 years, Thomas Costello, and brothers Charles Bootes, Jr., George Bootes, and Kevin Bootes.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass Friday September 6, 2024 at 12 noon in St. John the Baptist Church 168 Chestnut Street Lockport, NY. Donations to Sister Helen’s Food Pantry 160 Chestnut St. Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
