I’m so incredibly saddened to learn of Kevin’s passing. Kevin and I produced countless Promos together for WKBW-TV.
His dedication to detail, professionalism, love for his craft and amazing personality made him one of the BEST in the business!!
Whether his day involved shooting and editing for News and Promotion or producing a heart warming package for the Variety Club Telethon; whatever Kevin did, he did it with excellence.
I’ll always remember Kevin for his love and respect for his colleagues. Our Promotion/Production team was better because we loved what we did and we loved working together.

I first met Kevin at the Shamus on St Patrick’s Day many years ago. He was hilarious we hit it off and met up every year. i met Kevin years ago. i don't know how or when but suspect our mutual interest in motorcycles. particularly vintage. we had numerous mutual friends also involved in motorcycles. occasionally he would stop by my place for a visit. i always knew he was coming up the road as i could identify the sound of the beautiful Norton he rode. he would contact me from time to time asking for advice as he was working on motorcycle projects. in fact, we had just spoken several weeks ago about a vintage Bultaco of his. last September i was happy to know he would be attending the vintage motocross reunion at Zoar Valley in Springville, N.Y. a few years prior to that event, we had met at AMA Vintage Days in Lexington, Ohio. we had a lot in common. He was always a pleasure to be with, share thoughts with, share a laugh....i will most certainly miss him but so very grateful that we were friends.

Kevin was the Best. We became fast friends at WKBW Channel 7. Kevin was curious and had interests similar to mine. Through Facebook, we were able to reconnect, catch up, and talk about our favorite topics, cameras, and video. Kevin told me about his family, his love of Mary and the boys. I had hoped to see Kevin on my trip back to Buffalo from our home in Switzerland last summer. Unfortunately, we didn't get together, and this is one of my great regrets. We spoke recently, and Kevin told me about his condition; like Kevin, he was upbeat and optimistic about the new therapy he was beginning. When I called to check on him after their trip to Portugal, it went to voicemail. I called a mutual friend, and he spoke to Mary; it wasn't good news. Kevin's voice is still in my head, and I know that Kevin is forever in our hearts. Kevin was the Best.
