Eileen M. Haak passed away June 13, 2024 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born August 13, 1947 in Niagara Falls she was the daughter of Elwin and Margaret (O’Grady) Newman.  Eileen worked for 32 years at Cornerstone Credit Union in Middleport retiring in 2006.  She enjoyed going to the casino, attending yard sales, camping, bowling, always up for a party and especially spending time with her family.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 56 years Gary E. Haak; children David E. (Kimberly) Haak and Susan E. (Matthew Sr) McKee; grandchildren Matthew Jr., Jessica, Adam, Cameron, Kaitlynn, Emily, and Matthew; sisters Esther (late Phillip) Walker and Margaret “Molly” (Donald) Manson; in-laws Sharon Mathews and Ronald (Anne) Haak also several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her other siblings Beatrice White, Jean Filipovich, Carl Newman, Martha Roth; and in-laws Marilyn Parm and Douglas Haak Sr.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, June 19th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
