Obituary of Dolores Panek

Dolores M. Panek passed away Sunday July 24, 2011. Born in Buffalo, NY on May 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna Stadler Fischer. Dolores worked at Pivot Punch in Pendleton, and she enjoyed doll making, sewing and cake decorating. She is predeceased by her husband Norbert J. Panek, who passed away January 6, 2006.
Dolores was the mother of Karen (Rick) Kipp and Cheryl (Richard) Widmer, both of Lockport and Michael (Diane) Panek of Omaha, NE; grandmother of Jennifer Pittler, Jonathan (Tammy) Kipp, Jessica (Mike) Kennedy and Katherine Widmer, Justine, Victoria and Matthew Olsen; great grandmother of Joshua, Justin, Carter, Owen and Lily. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dolores is predeceased by her sister Geraldine Ippolito and brother Alfred Fischer Jr.
Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 AM in Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 5442 North Tonawanda Creek Rd., Pendleton, NY. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
