Obituary of Joan Mulvey
Joan Theresa (Spoth) Mulvey passed away April 29, 2024 under the care of her loving family. Born June 19, 1932 in Swormville, NY she was the daughter of Edward and Irene (Daigler) Spoth, Sr. Joan was predeceased by her husband William E. Mulvey on April 23, 1998.
Joan is survived by her children Dyan (Jeff) Balcerzak, Suzanne (Dr. Richard) Junke, Timothy (Mary) Mulvey, and Paul (Kathleen) Mulvey; 14 grandchildren; Melissa Junke, Maureen (Brendan Neill), Erin Junke, Brian (Hailey)Junke, Shannon (Patrick) Whalen, Megan (Kyle) Rankie, Corey (Kate) Balcerzak, Kelly (Nick) DeWaters, Matt (Reyna) Mulvey, Colton Balcerzak, Sean (Lacie) Mulvey, Chaelyn (Dillon) Donorovich, Chelby (Andrew) Geier, Sarah Mulvey; 18 Great Grandchildren: Landon, Leighton, Lexington Balcerzak, Delilah & Dawson Donorovich, Anthony Geier, Teagan & Mauve Neill, Eliana Benedict, Hudson Junke, Adelyn, Declan, & Colin DeWaters, Rileigh & Jack Ranke, Olivia Mulvey, Liam, Braeden, & Lena Whalen; siblings Elenor (Spoth) Gordon Trombley, Edward & Ruth Spoth, Arlene (Spoth) Charles Badding, Merrit & Joan Spoth, & Kenneth & Carol Spoth; & several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, May 2nd from 2-7 PM in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 3rd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Swormville Cemetery.
