Obituary of David Rose
David Jay Rose passed away April 18, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born September 14, 1937 in Lockport he was the son of W. Leslie and May Belle (Gooley) Rose. David proudly served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1961 and worked for Simonds Saw & Steel as a foreman. David enjoyed traveling, model building and attending airshows, but most of all, spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Verlie G. (Short) Rose.
David is survived by his children Kenneth (Nam) Rose, Michele (Joseph) Parente, and Marsha (Anthony) Sperduti; grandchildren David (Katie) Rose, Samantha (Keith) Reichard, Jacqueline (Eric) Klumpp, Allison Parente, Lucas Sperduti, and Jackson Sperduti; seven great grandchildren and devoted companion Clara Hobba.
