Obituary of Barbara Jenks

Barbara Jo Ann Jenks passed away July 15, 2011 after a long illness. She was born June 11, 1948 in Niagara Falls, the daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Cossar) Smith. Barbara worked for 4 years in the housekeeping department at Newfane Inter-Community Hospital now known as Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Barb was a member of the Hartland United Methodist Church and she enjoyed gardening especially her flowers and working on her computer. She is survived by her husband Dennis Jenks, Sr.; mother of Dennis Jenks, Jr. and Shawn Jenks. She was also the sister of Charles Smith, Nancy Smith, Linda Smith, Cindy Smarr all of Newfane, John (Nancy) Smith, Lockport, Janet (Loren) Hursh of Wisconsin, Larry (Gail) Smith of North Carolina, Jack (Patricia) Smith of Georgia and the late Pearl, Jeanette, Marjorie, Richard and Robert Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
