Obituary of Richard Rossow

Richard S. Rossow, Sr. passed away September 3, 2009 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Born April 7, 1941 in North Tonawanda he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Scarpinato) Rossow. Richard worked in construction, Gascoyne Dairy and retired from Harrison Radiator after 39 years in 1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and movies. Richard was predeceased by his son Parrish Rossow in 1985.
Richard is survived by his children Tammy (Jim) Bolick, Richard S.(Diane) Rossow, Jr. and Scott Rossow all of Lockport; grandfather of Jake Bolick, Richard S. Rossow, III, Robert Rossow, Ryan Rossow all of Lockport, Scott Rossow, Jr. of Florida, Cameron Rossow, Brentan Rossow both of North Tonawanda and Rachel Rossow of Lockport; brother of Jim Rossow, Tony (Cheryl) Rossow both of Lockport, Mark Rossow of Claifornia, Mary Jane (Dan) O'Grady of Lockport and Gail Rossow of North Tonawanda; also survived by former spouses Joan Kelkenberg and Bonnie Frye Rossow both of Lockport and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday 2-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to American Diabetes Association or to Roswell Park Cancer Institute would be appreciated by the family.
