Bob took us on our first fishing charter trip on Lake Ontario. The White Mule was a great boat. He got us “hooked “(no pun intended) on salmon fishing in such a beautiful part of NYS. Had a blast. Thanks Bob. John Miracolo…

I have known Bob Cinelli my entire life. He was like a brother to me. I have so many fond memories of my childhood on up to my adulthood of him. Bob and his legacy that he leaves behind lacks no stone unturned. Bob was an integral part of the Niagara County Pro-Am where he, his wife, Karen and team fished on Bob’s boat “Hotline”. I will never forget one year I went to Bob’s house after a long day of tournament fishing and painted his toenails and fingernails while he was fast asleep. It was a good thing I was in Wilson the next morning. By the time he came to the weigh station he had calmed down.
My dad and Bob sat on the Niagara County Fisheries Board together. Many times I would join in the fun.
Not to many days past that Bob and my dad didn’t talk or you would find Bob at our dinning room table or on the porch talking about fishing.
When it came to my mom’s potato salad, Bob wasn’t a fan of sharing any of it. He often left our house with some leftovers and was always invited for the holidays. He would stop in for the best part, dessert.
I have some great memories I will always hold near and dear to my heart. The Pro -Am of course, the Niagara County 800 line and the shenanigans, the trade shows in Ohio and Pa, the “Turtle Clan” initiation, going out after meetings for food, heading out fishing on the Hotline and just your friendship. Thank you for the memories Bob!
Your legacy will live on in so many people that you shared a friendship with, mentored, chartered and employed.
May you Rest in Peace Capt.
Love - “P”

I have no words to adequately express my anguish over Bob's passing. These past few months of the daily ups, the downs, the fierce hopes of winning the battle, the despair when another one arose, and ultimately his loss, have left me forever changed. I could have never dreamt that this funny, gentle, meticulous soul I met years ago, who was magnificent to see in action early mornings out on the White Mule, would reappear in my world so many years later. I thank God for allowing me the time to give him the little bits of happiness and comfort that I could.
Mary Beth, Jim, Tom, and families, thank you all so very much for treating me as family throughout this journey.
I will never forget the beautiful look of peace on his face last week, in the warm sunshine with the breeze gently blowing, as he once again was able to be at his beloved Lake and marina, when we came home. It's a memory that I will cherish always.
Bob, my sweet friend, may you rest peacefully now, in the arms of our Lord, surrounded by the angels. One day, I will again hold your hand in mine, and until then, I will never, ever forget you.
Love, Kenna

When my boys were 5 and 8 years old we went fishing out of Olcott with Captain Bob. The boys caught several large King’s that they could hardly hold up. Captain Bob was funny, a little scary at times, and a great story teller. After the trip he said “you boys are ruined, you’ll never look at fishing the same”. He was right, nothing compared to that perfect day. My boys are now 17 and 20 years old. Over the years we launch our jet skis in Olcott harbor often and as the boys were growing up they would always look for the “White Mule” and if Captain Bob was onboard give a big wave, and he would laugh and smile. He offered a memory of a lifetime- he will be missed.
