Gary M. McTigue passed away March 22, 2024 under the care of Buffalo Hospice.  Born October 5, 1951 in Buffalo he was the son of the late Paul and Alma (Jones) McTigue.  Gary was an independent contractor operating heavy equipment, retiring in 2001.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Gary is survived by his wife Candace (Bjarnov) McTigue; children Erik (Diane) Ostertag, Krista Ostertag, and Alicia Roberts; grandchildren Dylan Ostertag-MacKenna, Juliette Itzo, Alera Ostertag, Erika Ostertag, and Tristan Ostertag; cousin Andrew Macfarlane; brother Timothy McTigue.  Besides his parents Gary was predeceased by his brothers Dennis and Ronald McTigue and sister Judy Cedro.

Relatives and friends are invited to a service Tuesday, April 2nd at 10 AM at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 2100 Baseline Rd., Grand Island.
