Obituary of James R. Conners
James R. Conners passed away March 19, 2024. Born June 3, 1946 in Lockport he was the son of E. Raymond and Emily A. (Iwaniec) Conners. James worked for Delphi Thermal where he was a Skilled Tradesman and was the editor of “Training Post” which was the employee newsletter, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the UAW and United Way, being active with the special events committee. In 2012 he published his novel “Looks Can Be Deceiving”. He enjoyed photography, writing, and sports. James was predeceased by his wife, Patricia A. Smith on October 27, 2016.
James is survived by his children Christopher (Adam) Conners-Fecio, Shawn Conners, and Regina (Carolina) Wright; his grandson Jakob Conners; sister Patricia Dewey and sister-in-law Susan Conners; also several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was also predeceased by his brother Michael Conners and brother-in-law James Dewey.
