Obituary of Marlene H. Ulrich

Marlene H. Ulrich passed away March 8, 2024 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born October 27, 1932 in Lockport she was the daughter of Leon and Dolores (Art) Stout.  Marlene was the previous owner of Spalding Hardware where she worked as a bookkeeper.  She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and volunteered at both the Soup Kitchen and Sr. Helen’s Food Pantry.  Marlene was predeceased by her husband LaVern Ulrich in 2009.

Marlene is survived by her children Thomas (Martha) Ulrich, Gerald (Molly) Ulrich, Dennis (Maureen) Ulrich, Nancy (Randall) Webber, and Kathryn “Kitty” (Kevin Worosz) Ulrich; grandchildren Jeffrey, Julie, Paul, Derek, Kyle, Ryan, Joel, Denice, Andrew, Elizabeth, Aaron, and Bret; great grandchildren Colleen, Christopher, Jackson, Hannah, Kailyn, Heaven, Italia, Derek, Jr., and Charlotte.  Besides her husband Marlene was also predeceased by her sister Jean Allison and granddaughter Jennifer Ulrich.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, March 13th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 14th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Sister Helen’s Food Pantry c/o St. John’s RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
